PURPOSE: To obtain three-dimensional woven fabric having uniform strength by adding additional yarn at a proper position of the warp, vertical yarn or weft, thereby expanding the diameter of the yarn.

CONSTITUTION: Plural warps Y are radially extended in a state to pass through the center of heald devices arranged in the form of a ring. Plural vertical yarns Z are arranged in the direction of thickness and a shuttle is circulated through the opening formed by the reciprocating vertical motion of the heald frame to insert the weft X. A reed is shifted toward the center to weave disk-shaped three-dimensional woven fabric. In the above weaving process, additional yarns ZF are attached to e.g. the vertical yarn from a proper position of the warp Y, the vertical yarn Z or the weft X to increase the diameter of the vertical yarn Z.
