PURPOSE: To perform smooth parking in and out by locating a lateral movable moving deck between a running passage forming position, where a vehicle running passage is formed so as to park a vehicle in and out from a parking device positioned deep, and a walking passage forming portion where a walking passage is formed.

CONSTITUTION: Parking facilities having two elevator type parking devices disposed in a longitudinal row in the direction in which a vehicle is parked in and out are provided with a parking device 3 on the parking in and out port side and a parking device 4 on the deep side. The devices 3 and 4 are provided with elevating tables 7 and 18 and revolving devices 27 and 27, respectively, and lateral movable moving decks 25 and 25 are provided at the parking in and out part 11 of the device 3 between the parking in and out position and a side position. The decks 25 and 25 are moved closer to the parking in and out position side and a vehicle running passage for parking in and out a vehicle is formed between a parking in and out port 1 and the device 4, and the decks 25 and 25 are moved aside to the side to form a walking passage. This constitution performs a smooth work to park in and out a vhicle.
