To provide a three layer structure woven or knitted fabric which includes front and back ground weave portions and a connection portion for connecting the front and back ground weave portions each other, and in which crimped fibers reversibly increasing their crimp percents on the absorption of moisture are used in the connection portion to reduce the thickness of the woven or knitted fabric, consequently enabling to lower the heat-retaining property of the woven or knitted fabric and reduce a hot feeling on sweating, and to provide a fiber product using the woven or knitted fabric.

The three layer structure woven or knitted fabric includes the front and back ground weave portions and the connection portion for connecting the front and back ground weave portions each other, and contains the crimped fibers A increasing their crimp percents on the absorption of moisture in the connection portion.
