To provide a three-phase AC axial dual gap type induction motor capable of high-speed rotation.SOLUTION: In a three-phase AC axial dual gap type induction motor, a rotor includes a short-circuit outer ring that has a rotor core wrapped with a strip-shaped electromagnetic steel strip with a plate thickness of 40 μm to 100 μm and having a plurality of slits and two mating conductors that are fitted to the outer periphery of the rotor core, a short-circuit inner ring that is fitted to the inner circumference of the rotor core, and the same number of connections as the number of slits that connect the short-circuit outer ring and the short-circuit inner ring, and the short-circuit outer ring, the short-circuit inner ring, and the connection are integrated members, and the mating conductor has the connection of the mating conductor fitted in the slit of the rotor core, and the short-circuit outer ring is fitted to the outer circumference of the rotor core, and the short-circuit inner ring portion is fitted to the inner peripheral portion of the rotor core, and at the time of fitting, the short-circuit outer rings of the mating conductor are short-circuited, and the short-circuit inner rings of the mating conductor are short-circuited.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
