Abstract:
A three-phase alternating current switching power supply that: employs a forward system that makes it possible to achieve high output; and has a favorable power factor. A three-phase alternating current switching power supply that has: a three-phase transistor that has three legs that have a primary coil and a secondary coil, the primary coils being respectively connected at one end to input terminals for the different phases of three-phase alternating current; switching elements that are respectively connected in series to the primary coils for the different phases; rectification parts that are respectively connected to the secondary coils for the different phases; and smoothing parts that are respectively connected to the rectification parts for the different phases and include at least one reactor and smoothing capacitor. The switching elements for the different phases are ON/OFF controlled only when the phase voltage applied to the primary coils for the different phases is positive voltage and are kept OFF when the phase voltage is negative voltage. The switching elements are ON/OFF controlled by the same PWM signal. The three-phase alternating current switching power supply also has reverse current prevention diodes that are for preventing current from flowing from the switching elements into the primary coils.
