Title:
THREE-PHASE AC ELECTRODE TYPE ELECTRIC FURNACE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2017015330
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-phase AC electrode type electric furnace capable of extending a furnace life by restricting leakage of molten material through a furnace bottom refractory or bulging-out problem at a side wall steel shell caused by bulging-out of the furnace bottom refractory while keeping substantially a large in-furnace effective volume.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a ferro-nickel refining three-phase AC electrode type electric furnace in which a furnace bottom part is processed with lining by a furnace bottom refractory 3 applied to an inside of a furnace bottom steel shell 1b and a cushion paste 6 arranged at its peripheral edge, in which a joint margin of the furnace bottom refractory 3 is [A-B]/A×100[%] or more, and C/A×100[%] or less of theoretical expansion amount of the furnace bottom refractory 3 at the operation time temperature where A% is a theoretical expansion amount of the furnace bottom refractory 3 at the operation time temperature, B% is an allowable deformation amount of the furnace bottom refractory 3 at the operation time temperature and C% is a theoretical expansion amount at the lowest temperature of the furnace bottom refractory 3 where the temperature becomes the lowest temperature at the time of operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
