Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain easy design, high efficiency, and downsizing of a winding part by switching three-phase AC power supply and a power conversion part to a star connection when high the input voltage is high and a delta connection, when input voltage is low.
SOLUTION: In the AC input of a single-phase full wave rectifier, when a U-phase line, a V-phase line, a W-phase line are connected to respective blocks of power conversion parts 17, 18, 19, the V-phase line of a three-phase AC power supply line is connected to a connecting point between the anode of a thyristor 20 and the cathode of a thyristor 21. The W-phase and U-phase lines of the three-phase AC power supply line are connected to the connection between the anodes of the thyristors 22, 24, and the cathodes of the thyristors 23, 24 respectively. At inputting of a three-phase 200 V, an on signal is inputted into the gates of the thyristors 20-25, and turns into a delta connection state. At inputting of a three-phase 400 V, the thyristors 20-25 are turned off, so that it turns into a star connection state. It is thus possible to attain easy design, high efficiency, and downsizing of a winding part.
