To provide a three-plate type mold with a runner of total length shorter than ever, a three-plate type mold with the total length of the runner shorter than that of a plurality of first runners, or a three-plate type mold with a resin path consisting of a spool and a runner shorter than the conventional resin path.
The three-plate type mold is formed of a three-plate type of a stationary, an intermediate and a movable plate from the upper to lower direction, and the spool, runner and a cavity are formed from the upper face of the stationary plate to the lower direction, the cavity consisting of a first molding area formed on the upper face of the movable plate and a second molding area formed on the undersurface of the intermediate plate. The undersurface of the stationary plate has protrusions protruded toward the intermediate plate, and the upper face of the intermediate plate has recessed parts recessed downward and including the protrusions. The runner is disposed to extend from the undersurfaces of the protrusions to the second molding area.
