To provide a three-way joint for forming a spheric structure capable of manufacturing a skeletal structure approximately in a spheric shape easily and at a low cost and a spheric structure using the three-way joint.
The three-way joint has three mounting parts 21, 23, and 25 respectively consisting of a hole for mounting connecting rods 50, and the mounting parts 21, 23, and 25 are mounted such that the extension lines of central lines L1, L2, and L3 of the three connecting rods 50 cross each other at one point A, and angles θ1, θ2, and θ3 between adjoining connecting rods 50 of the mounted three connecting rods 50 are set to θ1=120°, θ2=120°, and θ3=108°. By mounting the two ends of each connecting rod 50 on each of the mounting parts 21, 23, and 25 of the three-way joint 10, a spheric structure of a spheric skeletal structure having the three-way joint 10 forming a vertex and the connecting rod 50 forming a side, and each of a plurality of equilateral pentagonal surfaces and equilateral hexagonal surfaces.
