Title:
THREE-WAY SOLENOID VALVE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2703189
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the collision between a plunger and a fixed iron core and improve durability, by the contact of a valve body fixed at the lower end of the hollow part of a plunger, with the second valve seat on the NO port side before the collision of the plunger with a fixed iron core.
CONSTITUTION: In the nonelectric conduction state, only the downward urging force by a restoration spring 22 engaged with a flange part 8d acts on a plunger 8. A valve body 9 which is fitted on the plunger 8 makes contact with the first valve seat 7 positioned below, and a communication hole 6 to an NC port 4 is cut off. A fluid which is introduced into a valve body 2 from a COM port 3 flows into a valve chamber 5, and flows in a pipe 19 from the hole 8c of the plunger 8, and reaches an NO port 17. In the electric conduction state, a magnetic field is generated in the vertical direction of a fixed magnetic core 15, and the upper fixed iron core 15 is attracted against the urging force acting on the restoration spring 22 by the plunger 8. Though the plunger 8 stops through the contact with the second valve seat 20 of the valve body 9 fitted in a valve body holding part 8b, the collision of the upper end surface of the plunger 8 with the fixed iron core 15 is prevented.
