PURPOSE: To obtain the subject accelerator containing a specific compound as an active ingredient, having an excellent thrombolytic accelerating action based an anti-α2-P action, useful for preventing and treating various kinds of diseases, followed by formation of fibrin gelosis.
CONSTITUTION: The objective accelerator contains a compound of formula I [R is 1-10C alkyl; (n) is 0-3; X is carboxyl, OH, CO-AY (A is amino residue; Y is OH, NH2, etc.)[e.g. 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)propionic acid]and therapeutically permissible salt thereof as active ingredients. Furthermore, the compound of formula I is obtained by subjecting the formula RCO(CH2)nX to condensation reaction with phenol in the presence of an acid catalyst without using a solvent or in a solvent, preferably at about ambient temperature.
