Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the optimal responsiveness and stability of a throttle valve in response to operating condition of a vehicle.
SOLUTION: An ECU 10 carries out feedback control to a DC motor 12 through a motor driving circuit 11 by controlling PID with a PID control circuit 10b to eliminate a deviation between a real throttle opening θth computed on the basis of a throttle opening signal TH of a throttle opening sensor 4 corresponding to throttle opening of a throttle valve 3 and a throttle opening command value θcmd computed on the basis of an accelerator opening signal Ap of an accelerator opening sensor 6 corresponding to accelerator opening of an accelerator pedal 5. PID control constants Kp, Ti and Td in the PID control are set in response to operating condition of a vehicle to improve performance of a system.
