A throttle control device is provided with an air intake passage 1a formed at the throttle body 1, and a tubular throttle valve 2 to adjust the flow rate of the air intake flowing through the air intake passage 1a by rotating in the opening direction or closing direction in the air intake passage 1a. Elastic members 34a, 34b, which elastically deform by coming in contact with a peripheral edge of the throttle valve 2 to enable the sealing of a gap between the peripheral edge of the throttle valve 2 and the inside wall surface of the air intake passage 1a in the total closing of the air intake throttle passage 1a, are attached to the inside wall surface of the air intake passage 1a.
