Abstract:
To provide a throttle device for an engine capable of successfully promoting atomization of injected fuel from an injector to improve engine performance by using a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A throttle device for an engine includes: a throttle body 7 in which an intake passage 8 communicated with an intake port of the engine 1 is formed; a throttle valve 10 that is supported by a throttle shaft 9 disposed through the intake passage 8 and is opened/closed along with the rotation of the throttle shaft 9 to adjust intake amount of the engine 1; and a pair of injectors 13, 14 that are fixed to outer surfaces of the throttle body 7 sandwiching the throttle shaft 9, respectively and have nozzle parts 13a, 14b respectively facing immediately downstream sides in the intake air flowing direction of a pair of intake air restriction sections 18 each restricting intake air flowing in the intake passage 8 by using both side edges (10a, 10a), when the throttle valve 10 is adjusted to a minute opening.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
