Abstract:
To provide a throttle device and an intake assembly, which facilitate the assembling of a throttle valve and can suppress an increase of flow channel resistance in a bore.SOLUTION: A throttle device 10 is equipped with a throttle body 20 that has a bore 12 opening to a first end surface 21 and a second end surface 22, a throttle shaft 40 that is rotatably provided in the bore 12, and a throttle valve 50 that is fixed to the throttle shaft 40 so as to be at least partially located in the bore 12. The bore 12 has an inner surface defining an intake channel 13 at least partially decreasing a channel cross-sectional area from a first opening end 14 toward a second opening end 16. On the inner surface of the bore 12, a pair of through-holes 18 which the throttle shaft 40 penetrates, and a pair of grooves 24 continuing from the respective through-holes 18 to an edge of the second opening end 16 are formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
