This throttle device includes: a throttle body for defining an intake passage; a throttle valve arranged in the intake passage and adjusting a suction flow rate in the intake passage; a throttle shaft 2 for rotatably supporting the throttle valve; a motor for rotating the throttle shaft 2; and a driven gear for connecting the throttle shaft 2 and the motor. The throttle shaft 2 has a projecting pin 5 on an outer peripheral surface. The driven gear fitted around and fixed to the throttle shaft 2 has a storage groove 41 for storing the pin 5 in a fixed ring 4 fitted around the throttle shaft 2, and is pressed to the pin 5 by being energized by a pressing spring 6.
