Abstract:
To provide a throttle valve that can secure robustness of regulation in an axial direction of a throttle shaft.SOLUTION: A throttle valve device comprises: a throttle valve 2; a throttle shaft 3 comprising a first shaft 31, and a second shaft 32 thicker than the first shaft 31, and of which the second shaft 32 is fitted with the throttle valve 2; a needle bearing 9 rotatably supporting the throttle shaft 3; a throttle body 6 comprising a stepped hole comprising a first hole H1 fitted with the needle bearing 9, and a second hole H2 having a smaller diameter than that of the first hole H1; and a thrust retainer 12 provided on the throttle shaft 3. A first annular surface S1 connecting an outer peripheral surface of the first shaft 31 and an outer peripheral surface of the second shaft 32 is located between a second annular surface S2 connecting an inner peripheral surface of the first hole H1 and an inner peripheral surface of the second hole H2, and the needle bearing 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
