Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method to form a through-hole of various forms/ diameters to a metal bar, a metal bar having a through-hole formed with vari ous shapes/diameters to the bar and its manufacturing method.
SOLUTION: In case of manufacturing a round bar stock, a wire inserting hole is formed to an axial center part of the bar stock, at the state a metal wire is inserted into the wire inserting hole, the stock under the state is subjected to drawing plastic work while bringing the bar stock in tight contact with the metal wire, an outer shape of the bar is formed as well as the through- hole is formed, next, the metal wire is pulled out, the through-hole having the same size and shape as the metal wire is formed thereat. A size of the through- hole is freely and approximately set to in a range of tens of millimeters to 100 μm, a cross sectional shape of the through-hole is freely set.
