Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the sureness of receiving excreta and to prevent leakage by bringing the absorbent pad, such as incontinence pad, into tight contact always elastically with the wearer's groin.
CONSTITUTION: A pad body 1 is formed to a boat shape by shrinkage of elastic members 9 mounted to both side flaps 7. The front and rear ends of this pad body 1 and the front and rear sides of an elastic waist band 2 are formed of top and back sheets 3, 4 of the pad body 1, by which the absorbent pad provided with slits 8 and connected with end flaps 6 having a hanging strap function is obtd. The end flaps 6 are expanded to a V shape via the slits 8 by the extension of the waist band 2, by which the pad body 1 is stably hung.
