Abstract:
To perform boring of a lathe, by use of a cutting tool holder for turning.
A throw-away tip mounted on a cutting tool holder is provided with a fitting part 2 removably fixed to a tip seat provided on the cutting tool holder by a clamping means and a shaft part 3 extended from the fitting part 2 toward the front of the fitting part to be integrated with the fitting part. At least the tip side of the shaft part 3 is constructed as a body of a boring turning tool such as a body of a drill 4 including a cutting blade 4a and a helical flute 4b.
