The training pants 1 are constituted of a permeable inside sheet layer 2, an impermeable outside sheet layer 3, and a liquid absorbing core 4 interposed between the both layers 2, 3, and provided with a front waist area 7, a back waist area 8, and an area 9 under the crotch positioned between the both areas 7, 8. The inside sheet layer 2 is constituted of a permeable first sheet which has the same shape and the same dimension as those of the back sheet layer 3, and a hydrophobic second sheet which is mounted on the central part in its width direction and extended in the front/back waist areas 7, 8 direction with the inside leg area 9 as its center. When the training pants 1 are worn, most of the discharged urine is left stagnant on the second sheet so that the pants can let a wearer feel strong wetting.
