Abstract:
To provide a thrust ball bearing capable of preventing generation of excessive stress caused by contact between a ball and a holder pocket circumferential edge when a ball advancement delay occurs due to relative displacement of a radial direction between a fixed side annular lace member and a rotational side lace member.
The number of holders 14 is equal to that of balls 3. One ball is held by one holder. A prescribed space is formed between adjacent holders. Thus, an interval between the adjacent balls in a locus circumferential direction is changed. Thus, a ball advancement delay is absorbed, generation of excessive stress in the holder pocket circumferential edge is suppressed, and the damage of the holders is prevented.
