Title:
THRUST BEARING UNIT OF CRANK SHAFT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3814507
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a lower half thrust bearing metal from falling out from a lower half thrust receiving seat by making a revolution-stopped projection supported by a revolution-stopped groove when the lower half thrust bearing metal starts to drop by shock while assembling at an upside down position.
SOLUTION: Respective revolution-stopped grooves 10 that are paired up each other pulled out together from two places apart at a waning semicircular peripheral direction of an outer peripheral surface of a lower half thrust receiving seat 8. Respective revolution-stopped projections 11 that are paired up each other are projected from two places apart at a waning semicircular peripheral direction of the lower half thrust bearing metal 9. Maximum width 12 between projections of both revolution-stopped projections 11 is set larger than maximum width 13 between outlets of grooves of both revolution-stopped grooves 10. A through-hole 14 is passed through to a lower half bearing box 5 at each position of a pair of each revolution-stopped groove 10 in front and behind direction. Each revolution-stopped groove 10 formed on back and forth, and both ends surfaces of the lower half bearing box 5 is formed by respective peripheral surface portions of both end portions of the through-hole 14.
