Abstract:

To provide a thrust roller bearing for effectively preventing the separation of a cage from bearing rings without impairing their assembling efficiency.

The thrust roller bearing 11 comprises a plurality of rollers 12, the cage 13, and the set of bearing rings 14, 15. The cage 13 and the set of bearing rings 14, 15 are connected to each other not to separate each other at less than 30N. Between an outer periphery collar portion 14c and an outer edge portion of the cage 13 and between an inner periphery collar portion 15c and an inner edge portion of the cage 13, bearing internal clearances are provided for allowing eccentric rotation. At least one of first and second pawl portions 14d, 15d is an extending portion formed with bending work. -0.1 mm0.5 mm is satisfied, where is a minimum engaging allowance between each of the pawl portions 14d, 15d and the cage 13 with the cage 13 maximally deviating from the bearing rings 14, 15 to one radial side.
