To achieve a structure scarcely allowing a retainer 3a to be damaged when the retainer 3a and thrust races 2, 2 are assembled and capable of making the retainer 3a and thrust races 2, 2 certainly inseparable after they are combined.
As the retainer 3a, at an inner circumferential rim of the retainer 3a, a cylindrical part 13 is used which is provided with a single cutaway portion 12 continuing from its inner circumferential rim to its outer circumferential rim in one circumferential position of the cylindrical part 13. In a force-free state of the retainer 3a, an outer diameter of an end of the cylindrical part 13 is larger than an inner diameter of each of locking protruded slender portions 5, 5 formed in an inner circumferential marginal part of each of both the thrust race 2, 2. Besides, a diameter of each bottom of a pair of locking grooves 10, 10 formed in an outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical part 13 is below the inner diameter of each of the locking protruded slender portion 5, 5. While elastically shrinking a diameter of the retainer 3a by taking advantage the cutaway portion 12, the locking protruded slender portions 5, 5 and the locking grooves 10, 10 are allowed to be engaged with each other. Therefore, the above problem can be solved.
