Abstract:
To provide a thrust sliding bearing for supporting a thrust load and capable of sufficiently maintaining the fluid lubricating condition by forming an oil film having a sufficient thickness in a sliding surface even in the case of rotating at a relatively low speed.
Oil grooves 3, 3, etc., are formed so as to be extended inward from a periphery 4 of a sliding surface and so that each tip thereof is provided inside of the sliding surface. The oil grooves 3 are inclined against the radial direction so that the lubricating oil flows into them with the rotation of a thrust sliding bearing.
