Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce weight by generating small impulses with a large-thrust thruster without providing a small-thrust thruster.
CONSTITUTION: A thruster system is constituted of thrusters 1 for generating large thrust, thruster valves 2 provided at the propellant inlet portions of the thrusters 1, a cutoff valve 5 provided on a propellant feed pipeline connected to the thruster valves 2, and a surge tank 7 provided on the propellant feed pipeline between the cutoff valve 5 and the thruster valves 2.
