Abstract:
To provide a thumb turn locking and unlocking confirmation mechanism capable of easily detecting the locking and unlocking state of a door.
A thumb turn 12 attached in a freely attachable and detachable manner to a bearing of the lock installed to a door 4 is provided, a shaft portion to which the thumb turn 12 is attached to its bearing and a knob portion 101 coupled to the whole of the shaft portion is provided, a magnet 26 is attached to the knob 101, and a reed switch 27 of which the contact is opened or closed in response to the magnet is attached to either an indoor surface of the door 4 or a thumb turn seat 106 of the thumb turn.
