Abstract:
To provide a thunder protection equipment which separates a metal oxide varistor 1 from a power supply circuit by safely shutting off a short-circuit current when deteriorating or breaking down the metal oxide varistor 1, and further detecting extra heat generation based on deterioration of the metal oxide varistor 1.
A low-melting metal alloy plate 2 having a temperature fuse function and a current fuse function is attached to a terminal of the metal oxide varistor 1.
