Title:
THYRISTOR-CONTROLLED SMOKELESS KEROSENE FURNACE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001183071
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a kerosene furnace used for ceramic art which burns a ceramic body by maintaining the temperature in the furnace at a desired value by gradually raising the temperature by igniting and burning fuel oil led from a tank and atomized by means of a fan while the quantities of air and the oil are adjusted.

The thyristor-controlled smokeless kerosene furnace 1 is constituted to maintain its internal temperature distribution difference at ≤5°C by connecting a burner 2 which is directly connected to the thyristor-controlled blower 21 for generating a combustion gas of kerosene to the bottom section of one wall of the furnace and providing an inclined baffle plate 12 on the burner 2 and an adjusting plate 13 which can move forward and backward and below the baffle plate 12. Therefore, the furnace 1 can completely burn the kerosene to a smokeless state.
