Abstract:
To provide a TiAl casting alloy that has improved molten metal circulation properties and has reduced molten metal activity, and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: The TiAl casting alloy has aluminum (Al): 42-48 atom%, manganese (Mn): 5-12 atom%, with the balance being titanium (Ti) and unavoidable impurities. The TiAl casting alloy may further have at least one element selected from the group consisting of niobium (Nb), silicon (Si) and carbon (C). An area percentage of a β phase may be less than 5%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
