Abstract:

To provide a ticket checking machine capable of improving the efficiency of ticket examining processing in addition to improvement in serviceability to users.

This ticket checking machine for performing ticket examining processing based on ticket information recorded in a ticket medium comprises a main carrying passage 11 for carrying a ticket medium input through an input port 2 toward a discharge port 3, reading heads 14 and 15 for reading ticket information from the ticket medium carried along the main carrying passage 11, and an attitude adjusting part 40 for determining the input attitude of the ticket medium input through the input port 2 based on the ticket information read by the heads 14 and 15, and adjusting the attitude of the ticket medium based on the input attitude of the ticket medium so that the ticket medium is discharged from the discharge port 3 in a predetermined discharge attitude.
