PURPOSE: To make a maintenance area larger than the ground contact area of a main body base unnecessary, and to make terminal equipment compact by packaging an LCD case in the main body base.
CONSTITUTION: Components to be packaged in the main body base are a ticket issuing port 3, a printer mechanism 8, rolled paper 9, a hard disk 10, a floppy disk 11, a card reader mechanism 12, a power unit 13, and a control base board 19. Besides, the components to be packaged in a cover 1 are a key lock, a ticket inserting port, and a keyboard. Then, the cover 1 is packaged on the main body base 6 by a cover rotating shaft and a cover hinge fitted directly on the main body base 6. Further, a liquid crystal display is packaged in the LCD case 7, and this LCD case 7 too is installed on the cover 1 by an LCD rotating shaft and an LCD hinge fitted on the main body base 6. Accordingly, since the LCD case 7 never becomes larger than the main body base 6, the maintenance area becomes unnecessary.
