The automatic ticket examination device 3 reads information of a ticket recorded in the ticket received at a ticket processing section 32, and performs ticket examination treatment regarding an exit of the user on the basis of the read ticket examination information. The automatic ticket examination device 3 memorizes information of a ticket examination suspending station where the user is entered into the station without performing ticket examination treatment in a memory section 37. When admission information regarding this ticket examination treatment is not included in the ticket information read by the ticket processing section 32, this ticket examination treatment is carried out by considering the ticket examination suspending station memorized by the memory section 37 as an entered station.
