The method and the system are provided with a portable terminal 11 to enable the reservation of the ticket based on authentication information and capable of storing reservation confirmation information regarding the reservation, an authentication server 50 to manage the authentication information to identify individual users and a reservation management system 21 to judge whether or not the reservation is possible based on reservation application via the portable terminal 11 and a network 100 from the user, to inquire whether or not the authentication information of the user is registered to the authentication server 50 when the reservation is possible and to transmit the reservation confirmation information to the portable terminal 11 when the information is registered.
