Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately set the ticketing end time of seat reservation of a train in each station.
SOLUTION: On a vending machine 101 prepared on a platform 140, operation information of one or a plurality of trains is obtained via a communication line from an operation information management server 401, and seat reservation information of one or a plurality of trains is obtained via the communication line from a seat management server 301. The vending machine 101 displays a departure time and seat reservation status of one or a plurality of trains based on the obtained operation information and the seat reservation information, and tickets a seat reservation ticket selected according to the display. The vending machine 101 terminates a ticketing process for the train, which is going to depart from the platform 140, when a startup/suspension switch 130 of a departure bell of the train is pushed down (on).
