Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tide embankment/breakwater capable of stably carrying out the closing work of a waterway and securely preventing water inflow or waves even in a severe condition like a storm.
SOLUTION: The tide embankment/breakwater is provided with a pair of fixing foundations 12R, 12L holding a waterway therebetween and a film structure 11 laid between the fixing foundations 12R, 12L. The membrane structure 11 provided with a film body 14 closing a waterway is placed on a float 13 and unfolded between the fixing foundations 12R, 12L.
