To easily position an open end wrench to a tie rod by tilting the open end wrench in the vehicle width direction via the circular arc motion of a tilt member in the vehicle width direction of a support mechanism around the tip section of the open end wrench.
This tie rod adjusting device is provided with a carriage 3 vertically moved along a guide frame 2 in the pit of an adjustment station provided with a roller to be mounted with a front wheel W and supports an open end wrench 5 on the carriage 3 via a support mechanism having the degree of freedom in four axes. A tilt member 40 is slidably supported on a circular arc-shaped guide rail 400 around the tip section of the open end wrench 5 fixed to the carriage 3. The open end wrench 5 is tilted in the vehicle width direction around its tip section via the circular arc motion of the tilt member 40 along the guide rail 400. The positioning work of the open end wrench 5 to a tie rod is facilitated, and productivity can be improved.
