PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for dismantling a tile carpet comprising a base cloth, loop-shaped pile yarns and a packing layer, in which the pile yarns can be accurately separated from the base cloth and the packing layer.SOLUTION: The method for dismantling a tile carpet 1 comprising a base cloth 3, loop-shaped pile yarns 5 raised from one side of the base cloth 3, and a packing layer 7 covering other side of the base cloth 3 includes: a first step of cutting tips of the pile yarns 5; and a second step of cutting base end parts of the pile yarns 5 after cutting the pile yarns 5 in the first step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
