Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make it possible to eliminate the need for joint filling work and facilitate tile placement work and thereby enhance workability and omit the installation of a reinforcing material on the rear side of a holding base board and cut down cost required for the manufacture of tile panels.
CONSTITUTION: A holding base board 12 in tile panels 10 is formed with a resin material while rib-shaped projected strips 12A are one piece-molded preparatorily in a specified pattern on the front surface. Tiles 14 are fitted inside a space enveloped with the projected strips 12A and pasted on the holding base board 12, thereby constituting joints on the tile panels 10 with the projected strips 12A so that they may be united together.
