Abstract:
To provide a tiller bar handle connecting structure capable of easily adjusting the inclination angle of a tiller bar handle in the vertical direction and capable of suppressing the fluctuation of the inclination angle of the tiller bar handle in the vertical direction after the adjustment.SOLUTION: A tiller bar handle connecting structure 11 comprises: a handle bracket 21 to support a tiller bar handle 12 on an outboard engine; a fixing mechanism having a wing bolt 31, a nut 36 and a bush 34 and so on; and a detent mechanism having balls 42, a spring 43, and a detent member 45 and so on. The fixing mechanism selectively forms a non-fixed state in which the tiller bar handle 12 is turnable in the vertical direction, and a fixed state in which the tiller bar handle 12 is not turnable in the vertical direction. The detent mechanism allows the inclination angle of the tiller bar handle 12 in the vertical direction to be stepwisely switched in the non-fixed state, and supports the tiller bar handle 12 while positioning it in the fixed state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
