Abstract:
To prevent oil in a second tilt chamber from rapidly flowing into a tank to damage the tank during tilt down using a manual valve in a tilt device for a marine propeller.
The tilt device 20 for the marine propeller in which a first tilt chamber 35A, the second tilt chamber 35B of a cylinder device 21 and the tank 63 are interconnected through the manual valve 96 includes an orifice 203A in a pipeline 203 for connecting the manual valve 96 to the tank 63.
