This switch has a housing 1 forming a switch enclosure, a rocking pendulum 4 rockably disposed within the housing 1, and a contact switching mechanism part driven by the pendulum 4. The pendulum 4 is hung down from an upper part of the housing 1. A first magnet 6 is disposed in a lower end part of the pendulum 4 so as to expose one pole thereof to the exterior. One terminal 8 of a reed switch 7 suspended under the magnet 6 is disposed close to the magnet 6. A second magnet 10 is disposed close to the other terminal 9 of the switch 7 so as to confront the first magnet 6.
