Abstract:
To provide a tilting type engine capable of achieving lubrication in a crank case with a reciprocating balancer.
In this tilting type engine, a cylinder 2 is diagonally upwardly protruded from the crank case 1. In a specific observation state to set a cylinder protruded direction right upward as seen in a direction parallel to a center axial line 3 of a crankshaft, the reciprocating balancer 11 is positioned left downward of the crankshaft 10. Part of the reciprocating balancer 11 is immersed in oil 8 in an oil sump 7, so that the oil 8 is splashed when the reciprocating balancer 11 rises.
