To enable the fixing of timber only by placing on a chain conveyer when the conveyer is used as a timber transport device.
This timber transport chain conveyer is provided with endless chains on which the timber W is placed and transported. A timber table of the endless chains 1, 2 has projections 8 extending upward that stick in the surface of the timber. Specifically, the plurality of sticks 8 are preferably formed in the longitudinal direction of the endless chain at substantially even intervals. The conveyer is preferably comprised of a plurality of the endless chains arranged in parallel. A pressure roller is installed for pressing the upper face of the table, thereby securely fixing the timber on the chain conveyer and improving the processing accuracy of the timber.
