Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the increase or decrease characteristics of the values of timbre parameters natural by changing timbre parameter coeffts. to determine an increase or decrease quantity according to the values of the timbre parameters when the increase or decrease of the timbre parameter is executed.
SOLUTION: The values of the timbre parameters after the change set in respective reversible counters 3-1 to 3-8, i.e., the degrees of the increase or decrease of the values of the timbre parameters to be changed, are controlled according to the timbre parameter coeffts. changing by having two flex points in the varying size relations of the timbre parameters to the reference values of the first and second timbre parameters. If, in such a case, the value of the timbre parameter to be changed is small, the increase or decrease quantity of the value of the timbre parameter is small and, therefore, the value of the timbre parameter changes small according to the operation of an encoder 7. If the value of the timbre parameter to be changed is large, the increase or decrease quantity of the value of the parameter is large and, therefore, the value of the timbre parameter changes largely according to the operation of the encoder 7.
