PURPOSE: To simplify the circuit constitution and to attain high accuracy and wide correcting range, by sampling a signal to be corrected with a charge coupling element, processing the signal to be corrected analogically with the transfer of charges corresponding to the number of the signals through clock to process the control digitally.

CONSTITUTION: The signal to be corrected from a magnetic recorder and reproducer is applied to charge coupling elements 1, 2 and inputted to a horizontal synchronizing separator 3. The phase of the horizontal synchronizing signal picked up at the separator 3 and that of the reference horizontal synchronizing signal from a reference horizontal synchronizing signal generator 4 are compared at a phase comparator 5, a pulse having a pulse width corresponding to the phase difference is generated from a control pulse generator 6 and applied to gates 8, 9 at every one line via a switching device 7. The transmission clock of a transmission clock generator 10 is gated at the gates 8, 9 and applied to delay elements 11, 12. The signal delayed at the elements 11, 12 is applied to the elements 1, 2, where the signal to be corrected is sampled and transferred with the clock signals of the elements 11, 12, allowing to simplify the circuit constitution.
