PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time capsule system in which users store any items they want in a time capsule and the time capsule is used by two or more users and is encapsulated or opened when two or more users get together, and the time capsule.SOLUTION: The plurality of time capsules perform bidirectional communication, and by determining whether or not to join a group, the plurality of time capsules are simultaneously locked, the group of the plurality of simultaneously locked time capsules is formed, and each of the plurality of simultaneously locked time capsules stores a group participation list. The plurality of time capsules in the group participation list performs bidirectional communication, and by checking whether or not the time capsule in the group participation list is present in the vicinity, unlocking is performed when the plurality of time capsules which are simultaneously locked when they are locked get together again.
