To provide a time-division power amplification module which is controlled in a time division manner, performs an amplifying operation only in a transmitting mode and functions as a transmission line in a receiving mode to easily realize a class-1 Bluetooth(R) function coupled with a conventional class-2 Bluetooth(R) module.
The time-division power amplification module is composed of: a first port P1 to which a transmitting signal is inputted or from which a receiving signal is outputted; a second port P2 to which the receiving signal is inputted or from which the transmitting signal is outputted; first and second transmission lines L1, L2 which are serially connected between the first and second ports and have a length of 1/4 of a wavelength (λ) of the transmitting/receiving signal, a power amplifying part 42 for amplifying a radio signal inputted from the first port P1 and outputting it to the second port P2; first and second switching means D1 and D2 which are provided between the first and second ports P1 and P2 and the input/output terminal of the power amplifying part 42 and perform ON/OFF switching operations in response to a time division control signal to form or cut off a transmitting signal transmission path from the first port P1 through the power amplifying part to the second port P2; a third switching means D3; and third and fourth transmission lines L3 and L4.
