Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time measuring device which can measure time even when a user has run a predetermined distance without operating any switches.
SOLUTION: When the number of steps is detected by a walking detection circuit, '1' is added to the value of a number-of-steps register (S45). Then, it is judged whether the value of (step width)×(number of steps) is equal to or larger than distance × (number of laps+1) (S46). When running distance is equal to a distance set by a user or its integer multiples, a stop watch time being measured is stored at a split time storage part in a RAM as a split time (S47).
